Have you ever heard of Not Formal Education? Are you interested in finding a new method to make your educational intervention effective and fun?
Continue reading and you will discover a new way to maximize to the best the potential of children and manage the difficulties that all parents face with serenity and success.
At this point, the question is: WHAT IS NON-FORMAL EDUCATION?
To answer to this question, we will make an experiment! 5 minutes will be enough!
You can do it alone or with a group of parents.
Here is what you have to do (if you do not have the materials, you can also do it mentally… the objective is to reflect on the things that we will tell you):
1. Take a piece of paper.
2. Choose three colored markers or crayons.
3. Assign to each of these categories a color:
FORMAL EDUCATION (ex: Red).
INFORMAL EDUCATION (ex: Orange).
NON-FORMAL EDUCATION (ex: Blue).
Now bring back on your sheet the following sentences by writing them with the color of the category to which, ACCORDING TO YOU, belong to:
• You learn by doing.
• It is directive.
• It is learned in a structured way.
• It is based on the passing of knowledge.
• It is learned by external stimuli.
• Develops the key competences.
• It is learned by playing.
• It is fun.
• It is learned in a pre-established way.
• Anyone can teach it.
